Filming beach volleyball today, and with TactiCam
Without a tool
In beach volleyball, each player passes, sets, attacks and defends, with no substitutes and no specialists. The wind moves the serve, the sand slows the first step, and the gap between blocker and defender comes down to one metre. From the side, the eye follows the ball and misses the partner's positioning. A session filmed in full is never watched again.
With TactiCam
You no longer anticipate the play: you press after seeing it, and the app retrieves the seconds that have just passed. By the end of the session you have a dozen short clips instead of a one-hour file — each one chosen by you, in the moment.
Three situations where it makes a difference
Serve receive and set
Side-out is won on the first contact. The clip shows where the pass went and how the partner moved to set.
Block or defend
The blocker takes one line, the defender takes the other. The clip shows when the pair took the same line and left the cross-court open.
Serving in the wind
Each serve becomes a short clip, comparable to the next, into the wind and then with it.
Annotated, discussed, shared
Every clip is annotated straight on screen — arrow, circle, area — and sent to the players concerned. They reply under the video, with nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions
Where should I put the phone to film a beach volleyball match?
In line with the court, behind the end line, raised on a tripod: you see all four players and both halves. On sand, a weighted tripod or one pushed into the sand holds better than one standing flat.
Do I need to install an app?
No. TactiCam runs in the phone's browser. You can add it to the home screen to find it like an app, but nothing gets installed.
Who can see the videos?
Only team members. Videos are never public and are hosted in Switzerland. A share link can be issued for a specific case, and revoked.
