Filming rugby today, and with TactiCam
Without a tool
Rugby stacks set pieces and phases of play. Between scrums, line-outs and rucks, a match produces dozens of situations worth reviewing — and a two-hour file nobody goes back to.
With TactiCam
You no longer anticipate the play: you press after seeing it, and the app retrieves the seconds that have just passed. By the end of the session you have a dozen short clips instead of a one-hour file — each one chosen by you, in the moment.
Three situations where it makes a difference
The line-out
Alignment and timing of the lift are judged frame by frame. Each throw becomes a short clip, comparable from one week to the next.
The ruck
What decides retention is the support that arrived within a second. You press after the tackle: the footwork that preceded it is in the clip.
The defensive line
One player rushing out of line opens the gap. Two merged phones give the width you need to see it.
Annotated, discussed, shared
Every clip is annotated straight on screen — arrow, circle, area — and sent to the players concerned. They reply under the video, with nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions
How do I film a line-out or a scrum without a camera operator?
A phone on a tripod films continuously and you trigger the capture from the touchline with the remote. The phase is kept along with the seconds before it, with nobody holding the device.
Do I need to install an app?
No. TactiCam runs in the phone's browser. You can add it to the home screen to find it like an app, but nothing gets installed.
Who can see the videos?
Only team members. Videos are never public and are hosted in Switzerland. A share link can be issued for a specific case, and revoked.
