Filming ice hockey today, and with TactiCam
Without a tool
Line changes every forty seconds, rebounds, zone exits: a period is a string of short sequences. Filming continuously produces a huge file you get nothing out of.
With TactiCam
You no longer anticipate the play: you press after seeing it, and the app retrieves the seconds that have just passed. By the end of the session you have a dozen short clips instead of a one-hour file — each one chosen by you, in the moment.
Three situations where it makes a difference
Zone exits
They are judged on where the three players stood before the pass. Pressing after the exit keeps everything that set it up.
The power play
Each man advantage becomes a separate clip, comparable from one game to the next.
Line changes
What costs a goal is often a bad change. The marker placed during the game shows where to look, without watching the whole period again.
Annotated, discussed, shared
Every clip is annotated straight on screen — arrow, circle, area — and sent to the players concerned. They reply under the video, with nothing to install.

Frequently asked questions
Does a phone film properly in an ice rink?
Yes, as long as it is placed high and left still. Rinks are brightly lit, which helps. To cover the full ice, two merged phones give the width a single angle cannot reach.
Do I need to install an app?
No. TactiCam runs in the phone's browser. You can add it to the home screen to find it like an app, but nothing gets installed.
Who can see the videos?
Only team members. Videos are never public and are hosted in Switzerland. A share link can be issued for a specific case, and revoked.
